We are located in West Des Moines in The Self-Care Center where we share the space with wonderful bodyworkers and mental health therapists to meet your self-care needs!
Our location is a quiet place meant to be like a sanctuary so you can relax and ground yourself in peace. Please be mindful when entering and aware of the other therapists in session. Front and back door entrance are accessible with wheelchair accomidations!
What to Expect
Intake Forms: Upon your first session we will take a thorough intake about your medical history and massage preferences. Keep in mind some conditions are contraindicated for massage, meaning massage can be harmful if performed, so please make sure with your health care provider that you are ok for massage and do proper research before booking! If I find anything on your intake is contraindicated we will have to modify the session, cancel, or rebook until you are cleared for massage.
What to Wear: Recommended comfortable, fitted clothes for stretching. Any jewelry I ask that you remove beforehand so it doesn't get caught. Keep in mind that if you suggest oil it can get on clothes, so be aware of that as well when deciding what to wear to your session.
Hydrate: Proper hydration allows for the muscles to respond better to massage. Hydration before and after your session are highly encouraged.
Payment: Both online and in person payment options are available. Please let me know if you plan to pay cash beforehand! Tip is also included in the price so no additional tip is expected!
Cancellation: 24 hours in advance is expected for you to cancel your appointment. A $20 late cancellation fee will be applied if you fail to do so.
